Create a Mosaic - Full Tutorial | ASIAir + PixInsight
In this double-feature I'll show my full process for creating a mosaic. We'll start in the ASIAir and use the Plan feature to determine the dimensions of the mosaic. Once the data has been captured, we'll bring it into PixInsight and create the final image. This will take a while, as we need to stack a series of panels together, correct any issues, and then blend the panels together.
If you'd like to learn more about astrophotography, be sure to check out the 2024 Edition of the Deep Space Course. This includes 80+ new videos that take you through the entire astro process, from upgrading your gear, planning out a shoot, capturing the data, and learning how to use the processing software. (...

Squid Nebula - Processing Tutorial
Просмотров 2,7 тыс.14 дней назад
The Squid Nebula is one of the hardest targets to capture and process! You'll want to capture at least 30 hours of data for a clean image, if not substantially more. Assuming you have good data, the next challenge is to enhance the dim Squid Nebula. Since the surrounding area is filled with bright H-Alpha nebulosity, the faint OIII Squid is hard to see. You'll need to use a variety of tricks in...

Optolong L-Quad Enhance Filter Review
Просмотров 10 тыс.3 месяца назад
The Optolong L-Quad Enhance filter has been designed to block light pollution while photographing broadband targets. This sets it apart from the L-Enhance, L-Ultimate, and L-Extreme, which are all built for narrowband nebulae photography in light polluted areas. Therefore, if you had an L-Ultimate and an L-Quad Enhance filter you could (theoretically) photograph any object you want from a light...

4 Ways To Improve Your Astrophotography Images
Просмотров 26 тыс.6 месяцев назад
Astrophotography is one of the most challenging (and sometimes frustrating!) hobbies out there. There are many variables that will effect how our final image turns out, and some of them we have no control over. If you only have 2 clear nights per month, it can be difficult to remember how to do your polar alignment, focus, which settings to use, etc.... It will also take a long time to gather e...

First, you must understand that there are many variables in this equation - light pollution, telescope, camera, filters, moonlight, the object you're photographing,...

It makes perfect sense. And the floods you are detailing are only the most recent series. These series of floods themselves were episodic and recurred many times. It is important to not get caught in the idea that only one thing happened. Many things happen, all layered on top of one another. As to your asteroid impact blather creating Yellowstone, No. It is the McDermitt hot spot.

It's amazing watching people who are very smart break down every possibility of anything besides what actually happened. The entirety of the earth has massive flood damage BECAUSE THE ENTIRE EARTH WAS ONCE COVERED IN WATER. Noah's flood. Whether you believe it or not it happened. You're explaining the flood damage being caused by ice sheets in North America yes, they probably were because after Noah's flood the earth entered an ice age because of how much the earth cooled. And you started to talk about it but but didnt finish. the Grand Canyon was created by a catastrophic dam breach from a residual mega lake post-Noah flood. The Colorado River 100% did not carve the grand canyon over millions of years. Quite literally the dumbest thing everyone believes. The evidence is EVERYWHERE. Just open your eyes.

5 years ago I was living in the Willamette Valley in Oregon which has a sublayering of basalt immediately beneath the soil. I never heard before about that meteor but it definitely makes perfect sense if you know the area. I caught a few Randall Carlson discussions & decided to drive out to the scablands to see for myself if this was nonsense or reality due to the amount of misinformation on the net. I was thoroughly SHOCKED to witness first hand just how unbelievably massive this enormous flood event was . . . It is terrifying to look at. If you understand what you are looking at it will petrify your mind numb. It's the difference between dropping a bowling ball into a swimming pool & a tidal wave - Fantastic work on this video, I am all for more! Thank You very much -

Hay COUZIN from U. of Alberta - youz USA never look UP !🇨🇦 "Geologists have long known of an ancient glacial lake, Lake Agassiz, that occupied as much as 1.5 million square kilometres of what is now southern Manitoba and central Saskatchewan, up to the Alberta border. The lake formed as the three-kilometre-thick Laurentide Ice Shield atop the northern half of North America began to melt about 16,000 years ago, creating a dam that prevented would-be meltwaters from making their way to Hudson Bay."

Religion has stolen our history, and replaced it with fantasy. I am so very glad science is proving our recent history. It means a lot for the whole climate change theory, and its cause, and its effect. We are still changing. Man could not stop the last ice age, nor caused it to end. A volcano, earthquake, or asteroid, is much more dangerous. We should spend more on the people, rather than taxing carbon.

at 9:27, it appears to be a Native Scroll, a language only understood by those in that period. I see warnings, I see a fierce people, I see people willing to fight off those intruders, and I see Medicine men, spirit dancers, depictions of their gods, and the desire to live in peace, and not be attacked by other tribes who come to loot, pillage, maybe even rape. I see what looks to me like the symbols of a stronghold. I also see the dominance over all living species. It is beautiful

Today its most specifically people who claim to be of traditional values who like there being nothing of the sort. You don´t even get statues with limp dicks made anymore like in Roman times, you get statues with men in suites and either their face or head missing.

And how much difference is there between iso 400 and say iso 3200 in final image quality with the same exposure time? Thanks for taking the time to answer me.

Enjoyed the video. But using 'dimensions' that have their roots in old video sensor terminology is still highly confusing to us relative newbies - e.g. referring to the the ZWO ASI533 as having a 1" square sensor, when it is in fact only 11.3x11.3mm. ZWO tech folks should address this in their description of this product, and drop the old misleading naming terminology.

Ive learned a lot in astrophoto, thanks to your Videos. This is another great one and thanks.👍🏾 For panel in ASIair, I second @Oamaruastro. We can click on the "+" icon in the shooting dialog within the shooting dialog. Should be able to copy the settings. Or when you see all the sequence in Plan mode (stars at 8m40sec in the video) enter the shooting settings (e.g. numer of exposure, repeat, gain, etc.) only in the 1st detail. DO NOT repeat the shooting settings in the other Panels. Once done with the 1st detail (1st shooting sequence) go back where you have all your Panels (1-1, 1-2, 1-3, ... 2-2, etc.) (Asiair Planning Menu seen at 8m25sec of your video). In the upper left corner, you have the back/exit icon to get out of the Planning Menu window. When you click on it (after completing just your 1st shooting sequence), ASIair should bring a dialogue box. The box will ask if you want to copy the settings to the rest of the sequence/panels. Click "yes/ok". Hope I was clear and Thanks Peter for contribution in astrophoto.👍🏾😊

Nice video, thank you very much! Two things though-when setting up your shooting plan, I believe you can tap on the little “+” icon thing on the top right hand corner of the shooting dialogue in the ASIAIR to copy the plan to the future panels, so you don’t have to do it multiple times. Also, when processing the panels in Pixinsight, why not place all the files into separate sub-folders within the main folder with a name like “Panel 1-1”, “Panel 1-2” etc, and then in WBPP use “Panel” as the keyword and have Pixinsight process the data by keyword so you don’t have to go through the labourious process multiple times?

The pulsing of floods is a near certainty with debris flows- no ice is necessary for the theory. Have a look: ruclips.net/video/TfyBALcKKr4/видео.html The same has been observed in France, Colorado, the Himalayas, Pakistan, Venezuela, many other places.
